Configures when and how users are notified that their password is about to expire. Notifications help users change their password proactively before it expires and they are locked out.
Settings
- Send Time
- The time of day at which the daily notification job runs and sends expiry reminder emails. Specified in
HH:mm 24-hour format. Default is 08:00.
- Days Before Expiry
- A comma-separated list of how many days before expiry a notification should be sent. Default is 1, 3, 7, 14. For example, a user whose password expires in 7 days will receive a reminder email today; they will receive another when 3 days remain, and another the day before expiry.
Notification emails are only sent when SMTP (or SendGrid) is configured and enabled. Ensure email delivery is working before enabling this feature.
