Configures the LogonBox Authenticator app as a second authentication factor. Users approve sign-in requests from their mobile device using biometrics or a PIN.
Enrolment
- Allow Login Registration
- When enabled (default), users without the Authenticator app enrolled will be prompted to set it up during their next login. Disable to require pre-enrolment by an administrator.
- Allow Skip
- When enabled (default), users can skip Authenticator enrolment for a limited number of logins. Useful for a grace period during initial roll-out.
- Maximum Skips
- The number of times a user can defer enrolment before it becomes mandatory. Default is 5.
How It Works
- The user installs the LogonBox Authenticator app on their iOS or Android device.
- During enrolment, they scan a QR code displayed by the platform to pair the app.
- On each subsequent login, the platform sends a push notification to the device.
- The user approves the request using biometrics (Face ID, fingerprint) or their PIN.
