Configures how the platform connects to Active Directory to import and synchronise Windows/AD user accounts.
Connector Type
- Windows Connect
- Uses a locally installed Windows agent (Secure Node) to communicate with the domain controller. This is the RECOMMENDED way to connect as the SSH server is locked down and controlled for correct operation and can be used in all environments including where the platform server cannot reach the domain controller directly.
- SSH
- Connects directly to a Windows host via SSH to run Powershell queries. This is NOT RECOMMENDED unless direct by support.
Windows Connect Settings
- Domain Controller
- The hostname of the Active Directory domain controller (e.g.
dc01.example.local).
- Import Groups
- Limit synchronisation to members of these Active Directory security groups. Leave blank to import all users.
- Nodes
- The Secure Node clients to use for this connection. Secure Nodes must be registered separately.

- Port
- The SSH port. Default is 22.
