Controls how the platform checks for and applies software updates. JAUL (Jadaptive Auto Update Library) manages the update lifecycle.

Update Checking

Automatic Check

When enabled (default), the platform periodically checks for available updates in the background and notifies administrators.

Automatic Update

When enabled, updates are downloaded and applied automatically without manual intervention. Only available when Automatic Check is also enabled. Use with caution in production environments.

Update Channel

Phase / Channel

The release channel to follow:

• STABLE (default) – Only receive fully tested, stable releases.
• BETA – Receive pre-release builds for testing new features before they reach STABLE.
• Other channels may be available depending on the product.

Branch

Optional. Selects a specific release branch to follow. Leave blank to use the default branch for the selected channel.
