Configures the outbound SMTP server used to deliver email from the platform. All system-generated emails (notifications, authentication codes, password resets, etc.) are sent via this server.

Enabling SMTP

Toggle Enabled to activate outbound email delivery. When disabled, no emails will be sent.

Server Settings
Protocol
The transport security strategy:
Hostname
The hostname or IP address of your SMTP server (e.g. smtp.example.com).
Port
The TCP port to connect to. Typical values: 587 (STARTTLS), 465 (TLS), 25 (plain).
Credentials
Username
The SMTP authentication username.
Password
The SMTP authentication password. Stored encrypted at rest.
Delivery Settings
From Name
The display name that recipients see in the From field (e.g. My Application).
From Address
The email address used as the sender (e.g. noreply@example.com). Ensure your SMTP server permits sending from this address.
